rick attained an hnc (higher national certificate) with merit in building studies architecture in 1988 through part-time study at reading college of technology and manchester college of building.
in 1991 he formed a limited company to undertake freelance work with architects’ practices in the lancashire area.
from 2000 rick has worked with listed buildings and buildings within conservation areas, undertaking detailed design work and site supervision. he has worked with lloyd evans prichard on the grade i listed john rylands library and wales wales and rawson on a variety of vernacular farmhouses and ecclesiastical buildings in the yorkshire dales national park.
rick began his ongoing collaboration with architectonic in 2009.
